Visual Schedules part of the app, provides a step-by-step, easy-to-understand introduction to visual supports and the ways that parents and other caregivers can begin using them. The app provides practical examples of how to begin integrating visual supports into a child’s daily routines. It provides actual visual supports for parents to print, cut out and use, along with links to resources that provide more detailed information for those who want to go further.
The first-then-next style of the app is easy to use and comes with many pre-defined daily use schedules and you can even create unlimited custom schedules, with multiple options to use for creating your own custom schedules, such as personalized images can be added from a variety of options, like app’s own image library, device gallery and camera.
1) The app has its own huge image library to choose from. The library contains dozens of images that can be used to link with different items OR even actions.
2) You can also select image from device gallery
3) You also have the option to use device camera and take any new picture.
To save time and increase functionality, different image and sound assets are provided in the app. You can easily add Text, Image, Audio and even Video to each image, supporting word recognition and language development. Text-to-Speech support can also be enabled in the app for further assistance.
We have designed the app as a tool to help parents, caregivers, educators and therapists reduce anxiety and facilitate a calm, smooth transition anywhere, anytime.
The app makes it easier for the parents and teachers to create a daily schedule for their students. They can also arrange them in the order of the day. While playing a child can also check mark the items that he/ she has done. Parents can also add Timers to each step OR to the complete schedule.
There are different ways to view the schedule. You can have one item focused at a time OR can have two items side by side and First-Then showed with an arrow. OR You can list all of the activities on the screen with option to drag & drop the activities as they are completed.
